Unable to connect to the internet for an important meeting, Krista’s annoyed that Nicolette failed to warn her about a planned network outage.
Compensating, Nicolette offers to help Krista with her laundry, so she can rush off to find some wifi. But later that day when Krista is keen to change into some clean clothes for a date with Leo, she’s frustrated to find Nicolette hasn’t done the laundry after all.
Venting to Leo, Krista decides it might be time for her to move out. But when Byron overhears this, he begs Krista to stay, shaking her resolve.
When Krista works to avoid going home and having to deal with Nicolette, Leo tries to broach the subject of them moving in together, but Melanie gets in first, offering Krista her spare room.
As Krista readily accepts the offer, the pair quickly fall into old habits from when they first met each other as nanny and charge.
Enjoying the company, Melanie opens up about a new romantic connection she’s made online. While the man’s identity remains a mystery, it’s clear Melanie has high hopes that she’s finally met the one.
Later, as Krista enjoys her new housemate setup, Melanie bites the bullet and asks the guy she’s talking to online to meet up.
