Nell and JJ finally admit that they really like each other in Neighbours

But will their kiss cause upset?

Feeling unenthused about helping Dex with his biology assignment, JJ quickly changes tune for Nell.

Fed up with Dex over-analysing his intentions, JJ challenges Dex to ask Nell out as he won’t be able to let things go until he has an answer from her. When Dex timidly does so, Nell’s left` uncomfortable and desperate to avoid hurting her friend.

Although she lets him down gently, Dex is heartbroken to learn Nell doesn’t reciprocate his feelings. Clocking the awkwardness between them, JJ connects the dots and is saddened to see his brother hurt.

Later, Nell and JJ finally admit that they really like each other and Nell confides in Terese, claiming she’s excited about the romantic development, but not quite ready for anything physical to happen.

Nell also asks Terese to not tell Toadie and considering Toadie’s fragile state, she agrees to Nell’s request, although she does share her concerns with Remi.

Feeling as though she’s handled the situation as well as she can, Terese feels betrayed when she walks in on Nell and JJ kissing.
