Nicholas Hoult & Daisy Edgar-Jones to lead Disney+'s new relationship comedy Mosquito

Disney+ has today announced Mosquito, a brand new relationship comedy from Tony McNamara, starring Nicholas Hoult and Daisy Edgar-Jones as Kate and Ed.


This recently married couple soon find their secrets begin to reveal as daily life chips away at the personas they present… all started by an intrusive mosquito.


The six-part Hulu original promises a sardonic look at a young couple’s relationship and filming begins in 2026.


Speaking about Mosquito, writer and executive producer Tony McNamara, said “I’m thrilled and excited to work with and team up two of the best actors around. I can’t wait to go make absurd comedy with them.”


Produced by 20th Television, Piggy Ate Roast Beef Productions and Hustle & Punch, Mosquito is executive produced by Tony McNamara, Nicholas Hoult, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Marian Macgowan, Tracy Underwood, and Daniel Pipski and was commissioned for Disney+ by Lee Mason, executive director, scripted, The Walt Disney Company EMEA.
