With musical guests Foo Fighters and Meek!

With the first series of Saturday Night Live UK in full swing and winning over critics and audiences alike, Sky has announced that, following this week's break, Nicola Coughlan will host the next episode, with Aimee Lou Wood hosting the week after.

On Saturday 25th April, Nicola will be joined by musical guest Foo Fighters, who are Saturday Night Live veterans, having appeared on the US series nine times. And on Saturday 2nd May, Aimee will be joined by musical guest and British breakthrough artist, MEEK.

They'll be following in the footsteps of previous SNL UK hosts and musical guests Tina Fey, Jamie Dornan, Riz Ahmed, Jack Whitehall, Wet Leg, Wolf Alice, Kasabian and Jorja Smith.

Broadcast live each week from London, this new British version brings the high-wire, anything can happen energy audiences expect from SNL, reimagined through a distinctly British lens.

Each week, a different host takes to the stage alongside SNL UK’s inaugural cast: Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi and Paddy Young.

Written, rehearsed and performed in the week of broadcast, preserving SNL’s famously fast turnaround creative process. Each show is staged in front of a live studio audience, every episode features an opening monologue, topical sketches, live music, and a UK adaptation of SNL’s iconic satirical news segment, Weekend Update.

The final two hosts for this series are yet to be announced.

Saturday Night Live UK continues Saturday 25th April at 10pm on Sky One
