Nicolette and Leo are hopeful that they've made a baby in Neighbours

But is she still happy to go through with it?

As insemination day arrives for Nicolette, she, Leo, and Krista lean further into the parental trio they might become.

As the excitement builds, Leo still checks in with Krista to make sure she’s happy to go forward with it and she insists that she’s all in and wants them to have a baby as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, JJ, Felix and Krista discover Addison sleeping rough by The Tram, who doesn’t want Jane to know, because she thinks she’s put her principal out enough.

JJ asks Krista if there’s any way she can think of to get in touch with Addison’s mum Shannon. Krista does as she can pretend she wants to score drugs, a plan that Leo is definitely not on board with.

With Nicolette having been in discussions with Leo about her moving into an Eclipse apartment so the three of them are in the same building when the new baby comes, instead of discussing their future, Krista seems occupied by Addison.

Jane and Sam sadly give their blessing for the move, although they’ll miss Nicolette and Isla being in Number Twenty-Four. Nicolette notes it might take time to get an apartment, and they’ll always be her family.

Meanwhile, Leo eventually talks Krista down as it sounds risky, and Krista has no idea how Shannon might react to being tricked like this. But whilst Krista takes his concerns in thoughtfully, making Leo think she’s accepted his view, she later caves and goes through with her plan, wanting to help Addison in any way she can.

Shannon agrees to meet Addison, who is so excited and grateful to Krista, but it all blows up when Shannon bails at the last minute. Upset, Addison thinks she has no choice but to go back to the last foster care placement, even though she wasn’t happy there. Jane and Nicolette agree to let Addison stay, but she can tell Nicolette isn’t comfortable with it, and so can Krista.

Instead, Krista asks Leo if she can stay with them in the Penthouse and he is completely thrown as this was not the plan at all.

Blindsided by Krista’s decision, Leo struggles, but Krista launches into crisis management mode, affirming that she’s happy to press on with their plans to have a child with Nicolette. But as she continues to prioritise Addison’s welfare, is her heart really into their arrangement?

Later that day, they’re all in for a shock when they discover the identity of Addison’s father. It’s Clint!

As Jane, Nicolette, and the Tanakas reel from the revelation, Krista is wary of bringing another potentially negative influence into Addison’s life after Shannon ditched her, so Jane offers to suss Clint out before they decide whether to tell Addison.

Seeing Clint again for the first time in months, Jane begins to thaw a little on him, believing his story about his mother’s ill health being the motivation for his thefts, and while she doesn’t regret her actions, she’s more open and understanding with him.

Having been kept out of Addison’s life by Shannon, now he knows about her, Clint is eager to meet his daughter and support her however he can.

Based on this, they reveal to Addison they know who her father is, and support her through the introduction, with Leo hopeful that Addison becoming reacquainted with her biological father will lead to Krista reinvesting in their baby plans. But will she?
