Is Nicolette spiralling again?

Jane notices Nicolette snapping at Cara a couple of times. And it’s a big change given how close they’ve been since Remi’s amnesia was diagnosed.

Pressing her to tell her what the problem is, Jane is worried that Nicolette may be pushing away friends at the one moment she needs them most.

However, Nicolette tells her it’s fine, and she’s not planning to lean on Cara anyway, since she’s growing close to Remi again and will probably have no time for her. And Jane quickly realises what's really going on. Nicolette is getting jealous.

Still trying to distract herself from her feelings for Cara, and the obviously increasing warmth between the Varga-Murphys, Nicolette tees up a quick date with Maddy Murphy. And Jane can’t help but raise an eyebrow that Nicolette is suddenly interested in Cara's cousin again.

Nicolette insists it’s not a big deal, but in the cold light of day after their night together, Nicolette has to concede, maybe Jane was right about her underlying motives.
