Paul's plan to pit Krista and Annalise against each other backfires in Neighbours

Has Paul finally pushed Annalise too far?

The success of the jewellery shoot strengthens Krista and Annalise’s growing bond, until Krista discovers Annalise hit on Leo. While Leo and Annalise declare it was a non-event, Krista can’t help but feel off at being kept in the dark.

Eventually Krista accepts their apologies and conversation turns to the subject of Paul, with them all wondering what he’s up to.

Later, Krista’s day is served another blow when she can’t locate the very expensive jewellery that’s supposed to be locked in Paul’s office. The jewellery’s gone.!

After discovering the missing jewels, Krista and Annalise initially try to keep Paul and the Police out of it, aware Krista did the wrong thing when she left Holly with them. But their plan backfires when Paul overhears Holly reveal the dire situation they’re in.

When the jewellery is found at reception by Sam, Annalise and Krista head to The Waterhole to unwind, however through their conversation, they come to suspect that their event could be being sabotaged.

Both unaware that Annalise’s estranged husband, Sam Kratz, is watching from afar, Annalise recounts a personal anecdote to Krista and Aaron, who suspect she may have unresolved feelings for Sam.

Later, Terese confronts Paul on his handling of Annalise and Krista, suspecting he’s annoyed that they’re getting along and that it’s time he told Annalise and Krista the truth. Something that is heard by a just arrived Annalise and Krista.

Meanwhile at The Waterhole, Sam Kratz chats to an unsuspecting Aaron, before making a mysterious phone call that relates to Annalise.

As Paul tries to win back Krista and Annalise’s trust, the damage has been done and Paul is left to face the consequences of his actions. When Paul officially asks Annalise to work for him, she stands by Krista and says the choice is hers. And a betrayed Krista tells Paul that he’s on his own with the Bronze Bell.

Facing the fallout of pitting Annalise and Krista against each other, Paul needs to apologise to them both and fix the mess he’s created. Leo’s also disappointed that Paul didn’t include him in discussions about spending more time in New York.

As Paul attempts an apology to Krista, she eventually agrees to continue helping him with the jewellery exhibition. But to Paul’s horror, Annalise is AWOL, heading to Sydney to

visit Beth Brennan. Has he lost her for good?
