Greg saves Elle from nearly being run down by a car. When he identifies the license plates, Andrew and Cara follow the lead to where the car had recently been abandoned and discover an encrypted hard drive in the passenger seat.

Cara worries about her dad being close to Elle and the accident, but there’s so much more she should be worried about.

As Cara and Greg start on their woodworking project, they're both seemingly excited to bond further. When Cara reveals that JJ is coming back to Erinsborough, Greg soon learns that accompanying JJ will be his donor, Felix, to help protect him. And Felix is not the kind of person you want around when you’re dealing in shady business!

Worried for her safety and triggered by the death of his sons, Paul assures Terese that Elle is going to take a break from the story, hoping that will keep her safe. To alleviate Paul’s worry and help Elle feel sefled, Terese goes to extra lengths to help Elle out. That is, until she discovers Elle has been lying about dropping the story.

Amid Elle’s recklessness, Paul’s inability to pick sides between Elle and Terese weighs heavily on him, leaving Terese to realise that her gripe with Elle is only placing a strain on Paul.

When Elle vents to Leo about Terese, she finds no sympathy and Leo appreciates Terese’s determination to remind Elle that everyone is affected by her actions.

Emotionally drained and leaning on Terese, Paul confesses that he hasn’t been hard on Elle because he’s worried she’ll go back to New York and just wants her close.

Later, Terese informs Elle of Paul’s true fears that she’ll wind up making the same mistakes as him. Realising just how similar she is to her father, Elle decides to drop the story and stay in Erinsborough.
