But is everyone on the same page?

 22-28 NOVEMBER

Following the Jonesy lead, Elle tells Felix of her plans to stake out Jonah’s apartment building. Going through with her plan, Elle is comforted to see a protective Felix turn up to join her, making sure she isn’t alone.

Things take a turn when they see Mayor Helen enter the building and leave with Jonah, clearly more than friends. Elle manages to get photo evidence of the pair’s involvement, snapping them kissing.

Now with a worthy scandal on her hands, Paul is nervous about Elle’s next steps, but she passes the story on to Wesley Russo, recusing herself from writing any more articles.

Later, when Paul and Terese see Helen and Jonah being escorted by police through the complex, Helen has a stern warning for them. They shouldn’t have let Elle get near the story. Now there will be hell to pay for everyone.

Following Helen and Jonah’s arrest, the residents analyse Mayor Helen’s warning, thinking it rather ominous. But Paul is quick to dispel any threat, insisting she was trying to cover her own embarrassment at being found out.

Feeling remorseful about his involvement, Karl apologises to Sam and Annalise for his part when they arrive for an urgent stakeholder meeting with other members of the freeway development. However, it quickly becomes apparent that Sam and Annalise have something they’re hiding.

With the residents all gathered in the Waterhole, Sam returns from the meeting bearing bad news. Since Helen’s involvement was exposed, the developers think they need to scrap the original plans for the freeway and move its location... straight through Ramsay Street!

Meanwhile, relishing in their newfound romance, Elle and Felix continue their overnight fun in the kitchen until Paul walks in to check if Elle has seen the commotion.

Following the latest Daily Monster post, Elle and Felix take in the drama, but are keener to soak up the time they have together, opting for round two.

When asked by Paul if this latest update has reignited Elle’s journalistic spark, Elle is adamant that her time in her life is on a permanent hiatus.

Reeling from the revelation of the freeway development, the Ramsay Street residents think there’s a pretty clear way forward. They’ll refuse the sale. But Sam doesn’t like their chances, explaining that the street would be bought under a compulsory acquisition, meaning their hands are tied.

As the street convenes to settle on a path forward, it seems like everyone is on the same page about refusing to sell, except Wendy, whose silence speaks volumes. Does she want out?

Meanwhile, as Elle and Felix continue to relish each other’s company, enjoying all the alone time, they're soon spung by a returning Cara and JJ, who return home from sorting out the saga following Greg’s faked death. For Andrew, Cara makes one thing clear: now that she’s back, he needs to find a new place to sleep.

Neighbours continues Mondays to Thursdays on Prime Video
