As she recovers, will Remi remember who Cara is?

19-25 JULY
With Bowman still lurking around, Holly is fearful when Krista asks her to work the drinks van at the pavilion, but she explains to a supportive Max and Taye that she doesn’t want to let Krista down or live in fear.
As Cara and Remi celebrate Cara’s new beginning in the police force, Max and Taye interrupt to ask how they can help protect Holly. Putting the boys at ease, Cara says the police have a handle on Bowman, but Remi is clearly affected by the situation.

When Holly appears on Andrew’s doorstep looking for support, he stands firm on his boundaries and assures her, too, that the police have Bowman under control.
Unexpectedly meeting Bowman at the garage, Max and Taye tell him to take his business elsewhere. Undeterred, Bowman easily gets under Taye’s skin and Holly’s disappointed when Andrew messages to inform her that he’s passed the task of keeping an eye on her to Cara.
Now that the police are regularly checking up, Holly agrees to work at the pavilion and Taye fills Cara in on Bowman’s veiled threats, leading Cara to become increasingly worried.
So when Cara spots Bowman heading down an alley in the Complex, she pursues him. However, instead of catching up to him, she runs head on into Remi, and while Cara is unharmed, Remi is knocked unconscious.
After being promised regular police patrols by Cara, Holly feels more comfortable at work, only to be left alone when Cara is involved in Remi’s accident. After learning that she’s by herself, Andrew tries to hide his concern and Wendy feels neglected by Andrew when she wants to discuss the storeroom incident, as he’s deep in thought about Holly and Bowman.
When Karl keeps her company at the Pavilion, Holly puts on a brave face, insisting she’s fine on her own and Karl becomes more of a nuisance than a comfort, micro-managing Holly until she snaps.
But when Karl leaves her on her own, Holly quickly feels unsettled and Andrew struggles to contain his concern as he learns that Holly is waiting for Max. Knowing that Max has been held up at the garage, unbeknownst to Holly, Andrew begins to keep a protective eye on her from the bushes.
Surviving her shift, despite her warranted nerves, Holly tells Karl that she’s going to learn to live with the discomfort and will work at the van again tomorrow. Overhearing, Andrew feels uneasy, and his discomfort grows when he learns that the force is spread too thin to check on Holly at the van. Despite Aaron reassuring him that Holly will be okay, Andrew is clearly unconvinced.
Despite regaining consciousness, Remi is still unresponsive and Cara explains how she was chasing Bowman and didn’t see Remi, accidentally knocking her into the corner of a table. As Remi is whisked away to the hospital, a worried Taye soon arrives, and Karl reassures a confident Remi that she’s in capable hands.
At first glance, Remi appears to be doing well, comforted by the presence of her family after she has been treated. But when Cara moves her shifts around to watch Bowman, a worked-up Remi begs her to ease up on her pursuit, as not only did Cara’s doggedness lead to Remi ending up in the hospital, but it’s also causing her a great deal of stress.

Later, Cara comforts an emotional Taye, reminding him that he deserves to feel safe in Erinsborough and should not feel any guilt regarding the accident.
Meanwhile, Remi confides in Terese about her anxiety surrounding Cara and Bowman. During the conversation, Remi experiences a concerning neurological event, but manages to play it down, believing it’s nothing to worry about.
When Cara, Dex, and JJ go to visit Remi in the hospital, she is thrilled to see the boys but distant towards Cara. After stifling her confusion long enough, Remi asks who Cara is, unable to recognise her.
Shocked that Remi can’t remember her, Cara’s panic only makes things worse for Remi and the boys. And she continues to spiral when Remi remembers Taye and Terese, and it becomes clear that Cara is the only person Remi can’t remember.
Remi’s neurologist, Dr Tucker, seeks a second opinion from Dr Beverly Marshall who speaks with Remi’s nearest and dearest to get a clearer picture and lands on the theory that Remi may have systematised amnesia. As Taye tries to piece together Remi’s remembered version of her life, he’s horrified that Remi thinks she raised Dex and JJ on her own.
And Nicolette rushes to be a support for Cara, who is weighed down by the possibility that Remi has forgotten her due to an association with trauma.
When Max and Holly run into Wendy and Andrew at breakfast, Wendy insists that the couples eat together. When Wendy and Max agree that the police could be doing more about Bowman. Holly is hurt when Andrew toes the company line.
Though concerned for the Varga-Murphys, Andrew and Wendy don’t want to overcrowd them, and Andrew looks for a distraction. Wendy suggests he check on Holly at the Pavilion, and Andrew keeps an eye on Holly from a distance, unknowingly making her feel watched.
When Max checks in on her, Holly greets Max with a kiss, leaving Andrew burning with jealousy. Scared of being alone at the Pavilion, Holly instinctively wants to call Andrew, but is shocked to find he’s already watching her.

Fed up, Holly tells Andrew to make up his mind. Does he care about her or not?
