Sadie and Taye's secret is exposed as she celebrates her 21st birthday in Neighbours

How will others react to their blossoming relationship?

To protect Byron's feelings, Sadie and Taye agree to keep their tryst a secret, and when Byron tells him about Jane returning to dating, Taye suggests he do the same. But Byron is repelled by the idea, feeling he’s months away from being ready to get out there again.

When Cara arrives at the spa, Sadie is forced to hide Taye under the water until she leaves and then has to repeat the move when Byron shows up. But when she can't shake off Byron without drowing Taye in the process, their rendezvous is ultimately revealed.

Byron is hurt when Sadie reveals the truth, and both she and Taye are left wallowing in mutual guilt about betraying their friend. When Taye attempts to clear the air, Byron isn’t interested. As far as he's concerned, they are no longer bros.

Later on in the week, Taye presents Sadie with a private, cheeky gift for her birthday, but as she gives him a thank you kiss they’re interrupted by Max and Holly and Remi.

With the relationship now public, everyone has their opinions, but Remi in particular is anxious to make sure Taye is treating Sadie carefully, given she’s newly out of a serious relationship and already hurt.

Remi is surprised to discover Taye is actually harbouring burgeoning romantic feelings for Sadie and thinks this is a sign of growth, but unfortunately for Taye, Sadie reiterates it’s absolutely nothing more than friends-with-benefits for her.
