Sadie is won over by Taye's kindness before sharing a kiss in Neighbours

But how long can they keep the truth from Byron for?

As a distraction from his recent trauma at Lydia’s hands, Taye is determined to win Karl’s “82,000 at the 82” promotion at The Tram and receive a free pie for 82 weeks.

Noting Sadie’s still down in the dumps after her recent facial fiasco with Nicolette, Taye ropes her into his mission, hoping it will distract her from her woes, as well as propelling him to victory.

But when Karl catches them using questionable methods to win, the pair is promptly disqualified. And Sadie, who’s been cheered by the antics of the day, gives Taye the space to admit his true motivation for being so enthusiastic about the competition. She cheers Taye up, promising to always be an ear when he needs it.

Later on in the week, an awkward Sadie invites Byron to her 21st birthday party, leaving him conflicted. After bombarding Taye with thoughts over her invitation, Byron decides not to attend as he’s still too heartbroken and needs some space.

When Byron tells Sadie he won’t be coming, feeling that it’s too soon to try and be friends, she understands but encourages him to ‘get back on the horse’... leading a spooked Byron to believe she’s asking permission to do the same.

Soon, Byron goes to Taye for support who gives him sound advice, and Byron is thankful for having such a good friend in his corner.

Later, Sadie listens to a stressed Taye, who feels bad for lying to Byron all day and they both maintain that Byron can never know the truth as Sadie pulls Taye in for a kiss, and leads him into her bedroom.
