Sadie pulls out all the stops to keep Amanda's memory alive in Neighbours

But will anyone get on board?

 27 SEPTEMBER - 3 OCTOBER

As Taye, Max and Sadie test out their new face mask recipes on the residents of Eirini Rising, Monte’s presence is still causing quite a fuss and it’s rubbing a number of the residents up the wrong way.

However, the person most ruffled is Colton, who isn’t sure how to take this non-Eirini sanctioned event. Can he chill and go with the flow?

Ready to launch his face mask business into the stratosphere, Taye thinks they should start looking for investors, but Sadie has other things on her mind, like trying to secure further funding for the Amanda Harris Scholarship’s longevity.

Pitching to Krista and Zac to host a live makeup show, Sadie is confident she has the missing piece to draw a crowd and a profit, getting Nicolette and Jane to participate. But when Sadie divulges her idea to the two women, Nicolette and Jane both say no.

A desperate Sadie begs them to reconsider, reminding them that the event is about keeping Amanda’s memory alive, challenging Jane and Nic to ruminate on her involvement.

Meanwhile, Jane is curious as to why Max hasn’t told anyone he’s now a fully certified mechanic. When Max reasons that he’s been stealing enough attention in the wake of the breakup with Holly, Jane decides to celebrate Max by taking him out for the day.

Having the rare opportunity to bond, Max and Jane dissect their recent feelings of inadequacy, with Jane revealing that Sadie has been asking her to model at the Amanda Harris Scholarship launch.

The pair take solace in each other’s advice: they should feel confident to take action in their own lives and feel good about themselves in the process.

A gracious Max is later surprised by a party Jane organised with the help of his friends to celebrate his achievement.

Meanwhile, trying to decompress with some yoga at the beach, Colton is surprised to find Zac taking photos of him who tells him it’s a misunderstanding, as he was just taking photos as a hobby and didn’t realise it was Colton in frame.

Sensing that Zac’s been checking him out, Colton peacocks by doing some shirtless yoga stretches, which Zac can’t help but admire. When called out, Zac covers by saying he was merely worried about Colton geing sunburnt, especially after Colton refused to borrow his sunscreen.

Upon returning to Lassiters, Zac has an unusual encounter with a hotel guest which results in Sadie wondering why Zac gave that guest a huge discount at the Day Spa. Covering, Zac hopes he’s put the matter to bed, although he’s clearly been rafled by the incident.

Later, Colton downloads to Max about Zac’s behaviour at the beach, and Max suggests Colton should find a way to be mates with Zac who explains himself, and Colton’s horrific sunburn offers the pair a chance to thaw, with them agreeing to be mates.

Neighbours continues Mondays to Thursdays on Prime Video
