With Tim and Sally still at loggerheads, Geoff assures Tim he is the innocent party and he promises his dad that he believes him.
After Sally confides in Cathy about the CCTV, she tells her that any footage will be on Geoff’s laptop. Needing to get the keys to the house, Sally tells Faye that she wants to get a book for Yasmeen.
Spotting Geoff's laptop, Sally puts it in her bag just as Geoff returns. Will he believe her reasons for being there? Having escaped from the house Sally shouts for help and a bemused Tim takes her home.
After telling him that she has taken Geoff's laptop, she reveals that she wants to try and view the CCTV footage. With Faye’s help they try to download the deleted camera app and CCTV footage.
Later, when the police arrive at number 4 to tell Geoff that new evidence has come to light and they need to ask him some more questions, could his time finally be up?
Heartbroken, Tim is worried for Elaine’s safety and resolves to track her down. After spotting Tim, Geoff hurries over and when Tim returns from Bolton he tells Sally, Alya and Imran that there was no sign of Elaine. And judging by the pile of post on the mat, she’s not been there for a while.
Tim then apologises to Alya for for failing to see that she was right about Geoff all along.
