Lucas has decided the time has come to pass Fitzgerald Motors on to someone new, and newly minted local Max Ramsay is stunned when his dad Shane offers to buy the garage.

Shane’s big gesture is mainly to make up for his utter lack of support when Max was an apprentice mechanic and his misguided attempt to push him into a job at Lassiters.

Both men hope the garage represents the start of a promising new chapter for Max in Erinsborough. But after Max has a messy run in with Holly, he realises it may not be

quite that simple.
