Susan faces a resident rebellion at Eirini Rising in Neighbours

Is she about to lose her job and the retirement home?

As Susan does her best to sell the residents on Eirini Rising’s new budget cuts, the residents aren’t having it. And she has little success on finding a middle ground.

Struggling to balance a delicate situation, Susan confides in Jane, who encourages her to keep trying. However, for the residents, their little luxuries make life worth living and Susan finally begins to lose control of the situation when Hilary starts a petition that Gino backs, including campaigning for the others to get on board.

After the mutiny at Eirini Rising, Susan invites Colton and Terese over to talk through a last ditch effort to save the retirement home: a partnership between Eirini Rising and the Sunset Group.

Later, Terese and Susan are elated to hear the Sunset Retirement Group have not only agreed to go into partnership with Erini Rising, but they are also going to keep Susan on as Operations Manager. It’s great news for Colton too, as he’ll get to work alongside them as Sunset’s representative.
