Susan plots with Remi to keep Karl at Eirini Rising in Neighbours

But is he willing to change his mind?

With Susan having major doubts about Karl leaving Eirini, she does her best to talk him down, but he insists it’s time for him to move on.

Loathe to leave Terese in the lurch, Karl begins scoping out a potential successor and pitches Remi on the idea, who declines. But Susan comes to her with another proposal, hoping that if Remi shows a little interest in the job, it’ll buy more time for Karl to think about the choice and come to his senses.

Though uneasy about deceiving Karl, Remi agrees to give it a go as she believes, like Susan, that Karl’s making this choice for the wrong reasons and should take some time. As Remi and Susan set this plan in motion, Karl is delighted by Remi apparently reconsidering. But getting Karl’s hopes up is a dangerous game.

Later, Susan remains deeply concerned that Karl’s refusing to properly deal with what he went through with Darcy when he refuses to even contemplate reconsidering his return to Eirini Rising. Instead, he latches onto a plan for a new promo at the Tram and Susan feels she has no choice but to support and humour him, despite her worry growing.
