Taye turns to escorting to pay off his debts in Neighbours

But is the world of escorting really for him?

As Holly, Taye and Max swirl with guilt over having burst in on Sadie unannounced, an insecure Sadie retreats into herself, unable to stomach seeing her burn scars again. Byron’s at a loss over what to do, until Holly hits on an idea.

With Taye and Max by her side, the three each reveal a deep-seated insecurity of their own with Sadie. Warmed by the trio’s honesty, well, less so Taye’s, Sadie thanks her friends for being by her side.

At the same time, Taye starts getting messages from Fallon asking for the ten thousand dollars he borrowed from her. Already under the pump to pay up his bond at Number Thirty-two, Taye feels the pressure to make some money – and fast.

Feeling better after her friends’ support, Sadie agrees to a drink with Max and Byron at The Waterhole while Taye and Holly work.

In the Piano Bar, Taye’s attention is caught by a glamorous woman, who asks if Byron is on shift. After relaying that Byron doesn’t work there, Taye texts Byron, and when he arrives, he’s thrown to see it’s one of his former escorting clients, Lydia Hardy.

When Lydia offers to hire him again, Byron tells her he’s no longer in the game although an eavesdropping Taye is struck with an idea. When Byron relays Lydia’s offer to his friends, they’re amused, but when Byron privately tells Taye how much he used to earn from escorting, he’s stunned.

Back at the Piano Bar, Taye gives Lydia his number, claiming he’s an escort too, and giving his name as ‘Sonny Manhattan’.

After work, when Max asks Taye if he’s found a solution to his money troubles, Taye hints he has. When he gets a text from Lydia saying they’re on, he heads off to meet her at her Airbnb.

When Taye arrives, he’s nervous, But assuming he's role playing, Lydia takes charge, telling him to take off his shirt. As Taye begins to strip, it’s clear Taye is way out of his comfort zone.

Later, Taye’s privately thrilled when Lydia hands him a chunky wad of cash for their evening together. But the pressure of this new side hustle ramps up when Lydia appears at the Piano Bar.

Although he enjoys Lydia’s cheeky game, juggling his day job with his side hustle is keeping him on his toes.
