Can he stop Sonya's nursery from closing for good?

FOR WEEK COMMENCING 15TH JULY

As Toadie continues working on the repairs to the roof at No. 30, if being in his old home wasn’t nostalgic enough, a song that reminds him of Sonya comes on, causing him to become overwhelmed with emotion.

Serendipitously, a postcard from Dee also arrives and Toadie confides in Karl about the strange timing of the reminders of his past wives, who suggests he talk to his current wife about how he’s feeling.

Though Toadie does tell Terese about Dee’s postcard, he stops short of sharing the full story, papering over his growing discomfort.

Later in the week, Toadie is still privately troubled by the reminders of his past wives as he's called by the agent who looks after Sonya’s Nursery.

Meeting Rhett on site, Toadie discovers that the nursery has fallen into disrepair and the tenants have pulled out and the nursery is no longer a tenable business, with too much competition from bigger garden centres that have opened in the area.

After being faced with the possibility of having to close Sonya’s Nursery for good, Toadie helps Cara with the next stage of the sunroom rebuild. And when Cara suggests the space could do with something vintage for character, Toadie thinks he may have the perfect solution.
