Apple TV+ has announced that their hit comedy, Trying, will be returning for a fifth series as Esther Smith and Rafe Spall return to play Nikki and Jason.

This series they'll have to deal with the consequences of Princess and Tyler’s biological mother Kat, played by Charlotte Riley, turning up at their doorstep, and the whirlwind of chaos she brings into their settled family life.

Also returning will be Darren Boyd as Scott, Siân Brooke as Karen, Scarlett Rayner as Princess and Cooper Turner as Tyler.

Created, written and executive produced by Andy Wolton, Trying is produced by BBC Studios and executive produced by Josh Cole and Sam Pinnell alongside Chris Sussman.
