When she emerges, how will she explain herself?

Struggling with the knowledge that he saw Wendy hugging Quinn, Byron isn’t sure what to do and decides his best option is to talk to Sadie about it. But every time he attempts to do so, he’s interrupted and eventually can’t stand the idea of ruining how happy she is about her parents’ rekindled romance.
However, it’s not until he’s slept on it that Byron realises he can’t hide this anymore and reveals the truth. Torn, Sadie drops the revelation on her parents, letting them fight it out.
Explaining how Quinn begged to see her about a study issue, Wendy assures Andrew that she has ended their friendship for good. Andrew accepts this and his wife’s promise to keep him informed if Quinn contacts her again.
Whilst Wendy is left thinking all is resolved, is Andrew really buying her promise she’ll stay away from Quinn this time?
Later, when the police cordon off The Waterhole, Andrew assures Sadie that they don’t need to worry about Wendy as she’s not in there, which is when a terrified Wendy and Quinn are revealed to be hiding in the pub’s office.
The next morning, whilst the whole community bolster each other, Sadie informs Andrew that Wendy didn’t come home last night and hasn't answered her calls or texts.
When Quinn and Wendy are discovered, Justin becomes agitated again, grabbing Susan. Andrew is shocked by the revelation that Wendy is also a victim of the siege and she's with Quinn.
Realising things are spiralling, Felix makes his move and lunges at Justin. Thrown by the discovery of Wendy and Quinn, Andrew hesitates when a shot rings out from The Waterhole, before belatedly ordering the Critical Incident Response Team to go. Surging in, they find Felix has Justin secured and the hostages are safe.
As Wendy emerges, she wonders why Andrew hasn’t come to her. Finding Andrew, tears overwhelm her, but Andrew simply stares, coldly. Questioning what she was doing with him.
