Wendy is heartbroken as Andrew and Holly dream of a fresh start in Neighbours

Can Wendy and Andrew survive another emotional blow?

 27 SEPTEMBER - 3 OCTOBER

Holly invites Gretchen to town for a catch up, unaware that Andrew asked Wendy not to get in touch with Gretchen.

Seeing his biological sister in the complex, Andrew jumps to conclusions and has a go at Wendy, thinking she ignored him. But they later all discover it was Holly and Wendy is completely innocent.

However, the damage is done and Wendy is very aware now that there are cracks in her relationship with Andrew. Cracks that may have been there for a long time.

As Andrew and Wendy face an awkward fallout from Gretchen’s surprise visit, they realise old wounds around trust and Andrew’s biological family have not healed, and Wendy is thrown into despair. But Jane helps her find pride in her marriage, and the rare feat of staying together for so many years.

After the Gretchen mess, Holly becomes nervous she’s got Andrew offiside and when she says she loves him, he doesn’t reciprocate. As Holly insists on clearing the air, Andrew explains he didn’t hear Holly and warmly reassures her.

Holly apologises for her overeagerness and just can’t wait to start their new life together, pitching to him a plan to take a getaway down to the coast together, and although Andrew agrees, he’s increasingly aware he’s getting in very deep.
