JJ's future at Erinsborough High hangs in the balance as he's rejected by Felix in Neighbours

Can Andrew help JJ see a future without Felix?

FOR WEEK COMMENCING 15TH APRIL

After learning that he's facing minor charges for the botched Eirini Rising robbery, JJ realises he has a bigger and more immediate problem, and that's his future at Erinsborough High.

Having previously brought a knife into school, the robbery may be the final straw and Cara and Remi get to work convincing Jane that JJ deserves to stay. Despite getting her on side, Jane warns them that the greater challenge will be swaying the Education Department.

After learning that he has yet again been denied contact with Felix, JJ fails to turn to the meeting that will decide his fate.

As Cara and Remi stress about JJ, he’s still more focused on the rejection from Felix and reveals this to Andrew who inadvertently gives him the idea to contact the only person still talking to Felix, his girlfriend Jools.

Meeting with Jools, JJ asks for her help in contacting Felix, but she frankly reveals that Felix did the robbery so he could afford to get away from JJ. In the face of JJ’s devastation, Jools is cruel to be kind and admits that Felix never wanted to be a dad and things will only get worse if JJ continues to push.

Disheartened that no one is helping him, JJ opens up to Andrew about his longing to know Felix and he empathetically urges JJ to think about who he wants to be as a person and whether knowing Felix will help him get there.
